Michael Lynch Michael Lynch

Michael Lynch was born in 1955 in Fort Worth, Texas. His father was an active duty United States Air Force Communications Service Non-Commissioned Officer who served for twenty-eight years. He was raised in an Air Force family and moved frequently. He has lived in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Louisiana, Nebraska, Okinawa and New Zealand. His maternal grandparents lived in El Reno, Oklahoma, which he always considered as his "home town". He graduated from Altus High School, Altus, Oklahoma.

He attended Oklahoma State University (OSU) and was in both the Air Force and Army ROTC programs, until bad health forced him to withdraw from school. He was an active member of Company C-7 of the National Society of Pershing Rifles while at OSU. He was also the president of the OSU Military History Club for one semester.

He has worked at OSU for twenty-eight years, twenty of which have been with the Department of Military Science (Army ROTC). He is currently the advisor for Company C-7 of the National Society of Pershing Rifles.

He has been lucky enough to be married for thirty-three years to his wonderful wife Elaine, of Stillwater/Perkins. He enjoys hiking, camping, reading, wargaming and spending time working in his yard with his wife.
