Major Mark E. Mahoney
Major Mark Mahoney received his commission as an Infantry Officer from the Oklahoma State University Army ROTC Department where he was designated as the Distinguished Military Graduate (DMG).
He subsequently served on active duty status for a period of twenty-four years. His many assignments include service in Special Operation, Airborne, Mechanized, and Light Infantry units throughout the United States, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and Afghanistan. He also served in Washington D.C. as the Senior Military Liaison Officer for an $8.2 billion dollar modernization program located in Saudi Arabia.
Major Mahoney’s final assignment prior to joining the Cowboy Battalion was as the Senior Active Duty Advisor for the Oklahoma Army National Guard and Commander of the 3-291 Infantry Regiment, located in Oklahoma City.
He currently serves as the Recruiting Operations Officer for the Oklahoma State University Department of Military Science in Stillwater.
Major Mahoney and his wife Anne have two children. Daughter Erin is a graduate of Oklahoma State University. Son Robert who is an academic junior at Oklahoma state University.
