Cadet Simkins uses his BDU flotation device to stay afloat during the Cowboy Battalion’s Combat Water Survival Training (CWST) lab.  CWST trains cadets on how to effectively perform in the water, while enhancing personal confidence.  The event is highlighted by a three meter drop, where cadets step off a three meter high dive equipped with a load carrying vest (LCE) and rifle while blindfolded
