Officership is a natural fit for many of your athletes because many of them already have the qualities we’re seeking. Army Officers use their athletic skills and abilities their entire career. As a matter of fact, athletes find many of the initial ROTC requirements that can stress others, a breeze.

If you are a college coach you know that not everyone will go pro, we believe service as an officer will enable your scholar-athlete-leader to continue to develop while serving in a highly respected profession – one that will enable them to capitalize on many of their natural talents and skills.

  • The scholarships and stipends offered by Army ROTC do not count against the Athletic scholarships that OSU awards.
  • The OSU Army ROTC Professor of Military Science, will work with students and coaches to ensure ROTC does not interfere with games or practice.
  • We believe coaches want to help their students develop their futures, character, as well as their college athletic careers. Army ROTC is an excellent solution to that endeavor.
