Incoming Freshmen

Army ROTC Program Overview:  The primary thrust of our program is to commission the future leaders of the Army’s Active and Reserve components.  Our curriculum is designed to provide each student with the critical leader, managerial, and supporting skills required meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.  Qualified students can complete our commissioning program while pursuing any baccalaureate or advance degree program offered at Oklahoma State University.  Students interested in participating in our freshman and sophomore Army ROTC classes may do so with “no service obligation”.

The Army ROTC Scholarship Program provides financial assistance for the education and training of highly qualified and motivated men and women who desire to be commissioned as officers in the Army after graduation from college.

On-Campus Scholarships opportunities:
Army ROTC program at Oklahoma State University offers four, three, and two-year merit based scholarships annually to full time students pursuing a baccalaureate degree program at the universities main campus at Stillwater Oklahoma.  Two year advanced degree scholarships are also available annually.  Scholarship recipients receive the same financial benefits described for our National Scholarship recipients for the duration of their approved academic program!

Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP Program):  Approximately fifty percent of the students enrolled in our ROTC Program concurrently serve in the Oklahoma National Guard or U.S. Army Reserve.  The financial benefits associated with student participation in the SMP Program can equal or exceed the benefits received by students receiving national and on-campus scholarships!
