Did you know that your college student can enroll in up to 4 semesters of ROTC classes without any military service or ROTC obligation? These classes are open to any student of any grade. They promote discipline, goal setting, achieving good grades, healthy fitness lifestyle, and provide leadership and management skills valuable for any career or occupation.
Did you know that your students who are also in the Army Reserve or Oklahoma National Guard and simultaneously contracted with Army ROTC are protected from deployment while pursuing their degree in ROTC.
- Students who chose to join ROTC for the purpose of obtaining a commission as an officer in the United States Army, Army Reserve, or Oklahoma National Guard are eligible for monthly stipends starting at $350 a month for one year and $400 the last year.
- Army ROTC offers 2, 3, and 4 year scholarships. These scholarships are awarded to students based on grades, physical fitness, intentions to attend OSU, and an interview that measures among other things their drive, motivation and willingness to serve.
- Our ROTC instructors regularly counsel and mentor the ROTC students during each semester regarding grades, academic planning, financial management, discipline, fitness, professionalism and individual goals management.
